Tumescent Liposuction is the method of removing unwanted fat from areas of the body, which are difficult or impossible to lose by diet and exercise. Some of the most frequent areas treated by liposuction are the neck, back of the arms (mostly in women), pectoral areas (mostly in men), abdomen, "love handles", hips, thighs, and buttocks. Wherever there are excess, unsightly pockets of fat, liposuction may be used to sculpt a more shapely and agreeable appearance. Liposuction is not a weight reduction treatment, but, in fact, a method of reshaping areas of the body which have lost their natural, attractive appearance due to fat deposits.
