 In breast enhancement surgery, a small incision is placed in a hidden area, and a saline or silicone implant is placed above or below the muscle depending on your individual body type and personal goals. After the breast implant surgery, a soft, conforming bra is worn for about four weeks to control swelling and the position of the implants. Normal activities are gradually resumed over the same period of time.
